We are located in an ideal spot for exploring all of Cornwall and the places to visit are endless but here are some ideas:-

Porthleven, a beautiful scenic harbour village with unique shops, numerous award winning restaurants and friendly pubs.

Helston, the gateway to the Lizard, a bustling market town, visit the Farmers Market on the first Saturday of each month in the Old Cattle Market. Follow the cycle and footpaths through the Penrose Estate to Loe Bar or further along the SW Coast path to Porthleven Harbour.

Visit the The Lizard Peninsula the most southerly point of England, here you will find the Helford River and Helford Village, take a trip across on the ferry to the FerryBoat Inn.

Watch the fishing boats come in at Cadgwith Cove, visit the beach at Coverack, perfect for kayaking, try Roskillys Farm for ice-cream! Visit the village of Gweek, home to the Seal Sanctuary. Wander around Trebah Gardens at Mawnan Smith or neighbouring Glendurgan Gardens with it's maze. St Keverne for it's ox roast in August, Kynance Cove, Mullion. The list goes on.........!

To the West, visit Marazion and St Michael's Mount, treat yourself to lunch in the Mount Haven Hotel, the views of the Mount from their terrace are spectacular. Or try the newly refurbished Godolphin Arms Hotel overlooking the beach and the Mount.

Porthcurno is a must see, the beach is absolutely beautiful, see our photo gallery for the evidence!

Visit the Minack Theatre, there are many performances and shows each year but you can just look around the theatre, it's an amazing place, you may even spot basking sharks in the ocean below.

Sennen Cove is a stunning beach too, and excellent for surfing or storm watching, depending on the weather or course!

St Ives offers a range of beaches and attractions, there are numerous restaurants, shops and pubs too. We recommend the Porthmeor Cafe, eat al fresco, lunch overlooking the beach is a treat or visit for a meal or snack later in the day, they provide blankets on cold evenings and you can watch the sunset from the terrace. The Tate St Ives is nearby too.

Falmouth is only 18 miles away and offers an array of activities, places to eat and attractions to visit including the National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle, Trebah Garden.

The Eden Project is approx 50 miles away. Lost Gardens of Heligan is 35 miles.

Or simply chill on our local beach.
